WHO ARE WE

Eve Personal Homecare are a privately run care company established in 1999 providing both home and community based care in and around Bury St Edmunds and the West Suffolk area, serving the local community.

WHAT WE DO

We offer a wide range of services to cater for the differing and complex needs of elderly people in their own homes, as well as enabling customers with a learning disability to access the local community and working with children.

OUR MISSION

We believe that the most fundamental and key points to what we do centre on aiding all individuals in the retaining of their choice, dignity and skills. We know that everyone is unique. With these central core values in place, we ensure that all services are developed, sustained and reviewed with primary involvement from the customer themselves.

HOW WE DO IT

We know that from an elderly customer who needs help with shopping once a week, to someone who needs personal care three times a day, from a learning disability customer accessing the local community, to helping a child get ready for school, everybody is different and consequently our service will be shaped by the individual needs of the person we are talking to from an initial phone call to a home visit, we will communicate and consult where appropriate with family and professionals to ensure that what we offer will meet the needs of the person requiring the care.

We know that two of the concerns people have is letting a stranger into their home and the very personal worry about any possible loss of dignity.  We know that the best way to deal with this is to be as sensitive and understanding as possible in both who delivers the care we offer and how that care is delivered.

OUR COMMITMENT TO EQUALITY

As part of our commitment to the delivery of high quality care and individualised support, we acknowledge that promoting equality of opportunity is integral to this provision of services and the way it treats its employees.  We aim to prevent discrimination and to promote a culture that values people, irrespective of age, colour, disability, gender, status, race, religious beliefs or sexual orientation.

Discrimination on the grounds of the above is unacceptable and inconsistent with the values of the organisation and with good care or management practise.
